Lakota Book Translations

Here we will provide popular English books that have been translated into Lakota. Most were translated by Peter Hill (of the Iyápi Glukínipi Immersion Childcare) or by our very own Lakȟól’iyapi Wahóȟpi staff!
Monthly Book Lists
For three months in 2014, a Monthly Book list was supplied for the families in order for individual families to begin to create their own Lakota language library at home. Each book list contains one or two books with Lakota translations. Book List 1
